About the Artist

Hello, my name is Maja. (Like Maya) I started traveling full time and melting glass in 2015, and a year later, found climbing.

It all started in my little pink Dodge van. I built a very basic mobile glass flameworking studio and came up with my niche, Glass Carabiners. I would set up my torch on picnic tables, as often as I could. Over the years, my little van turned into a full size school bus, towing a mobile glass blowing studio, equipped with a viewing window for a live audience. My little carabiners now fuel my travels and are inspired by the people and places that I end up. To me, they are a simple symbol of climbing. They allow me to express my passion, and I love to see others wearing them, to express theirs.
